    Brandon - the 35mm Squarefront is one most people are holding onto. The 50 and 80's appear now and again, but the 35mm is getting to be a rare beast.

    You might be better looking at renting one?

    Another alternative would be the (risky) OCT-18 route. get a two part 35mm and then try to get a PL mod for it. I think Sergey had one of those for sale recently, that's why i mention it as an idea/option.

    The 35mm SF prices have skyrocketed, even the RF priced jumped 2x in the last few months. Used to be $3500 per RF for years, now they sell for $7-$8k.

    Small, light, less distortion than the 35mm RF. mine is from 1983, was new old stock, and came in it's original wooden box with all of it's papers. Less than $500. They used to be cheap ;-) not any more :-(
