Yep, one of my favorite shots and a total grab. Our day was done and another storm was rolling in but we grabbed the camera and got out in the 30 degree weather, put the 17-50 on there and got what we could. It was under exposed but still a great shot.
It's a good example of being able to roll with whatever is thrown at you.

Loved the Chevy. It looked like a 71/72 Chevelle, 12 bolt posi (big block/mud tracks), turbo 400 trans, GM rally JJ code wheels/caps, etc.

Not to mention, lots of room for carrying a tied up person in the trunk. haha.

    Thanks Michael.

BTW, I can't get over how much I love this shot below. I think everyone else feels the same.

    Nice work, Shane!

And as an aside, excellent work by Jim Staskauskas, the editor. He's an incredibly talented commercial cutter. I know this because I used to be one of the assistant editors who worked with him. Better still, he's also a great guy.

I'm sure I will get some flack for this, but dude, this looks better and more "film like" then some of the big budget trailers I've seen lately. Awesome job dude.. I am a close up fan, but your wide shots and the detail in those landscape shots are gorgeous! I could feel the texture of the road. As for the shot with her against the car.. Would have never know it was under exposed.. Looks great..
i like the girl too, very Sheryl Crowish..

Once again, nice job, and props to the colorist, great grade.

Great work, Shane. Where in Travis county did you all shoot? I'll need to head out to some of those locations for a shoot I have coming up.
