Does anyone know the lithium weight of the Redvolt XL batteries? I'm taking an Epic kit on a flight.

take as many as you like....well, im sure if you showed up with 200 you will raise suspicions, but no limit on TSA rules.I should caution--again within reason. I travel with 8 and never any issues...and i keep a copy of the TSA regs printed at all times in case. for that matter i've never had any issues even when traveling with 4-6 bricks...

A REDVOLT XL is under 100Wh (8 gm) so it's not restricted - except that no Lithium Ion batteries may any longer be checked, they must carried as cabin luggage.

Not redbricks, redvolt xl's . As Johnny said, take as any as you need, just be sure to carry them on.

Will, i was simply saying i've not even had problems with my redbricks......what TSA agent knows how to figure out watt hours? None that i've ever crossed.....in fact my Redbricks i don't think even have the watt hours stamped on them....but this is not legal according to TSA.....and can cause your aircraft to burst in flames .....so don't do it...That said, i'm actually more worried about pure O2 leaks that are highly combustible as well as fueling.....not as much my batteries with tape over the prongs and in my carry on. But guess we have much smarter people figuring this out...umm, really?
