    IMO, there's too much lossy compression in the spec as it currently exists. I also wish they wouldn't call quad-HD and ultra-HD "4K" and "8K" respectively. If they want to call it "8K" there better damn well be 8000 pixels, preferably 8192, or more there on the horizontal dimension. Existing terminology and mathematical conventions mean what they do for a reason. Can't fault the marketing guys though, they're typically mathematically inept and "7.5K" doesn't roll off the tongue as nicely.
