RED LCD - Brightness Problems

I have a 5.6 RED Monitor. The image quality looks fine but the backs look more like dark grey and there is an overall "over brightness" over the screen.
Even when I brig down the brighness of the monitor it still looks "washed out". The captured images are perfect. Is there any way to fix this?
