This weekend while shooting with my RED ONE and my new RED ONE SSD MODULE I encountered a weird issue. The camera just came back from RED with a clean health inspection and nothing during this weekend shoot went wrong with it. Also, this is the first time I used the SSD's REDMAG.

While shooting, I noticed that I was coming real close to using up the card. I normally like to leave a little buffer at the end of any drive I write to...but this time I needed to get a shot and my AC had left the other cards at base camp 5 miles away. With the number "2" displaying in the MEDIA box, I decided to take a quick shot and the camera locked. It locked for about 30 seconds. When it came out of it, it displayed over 160 dropped frames. All of the shots prior had not displayed dropped frames. I tried to take another shot and the same thing happened. This is when I decided to drop the issue and just drive back to get another card.

I knew that all in all, my last two takes where corrupted, yet when I inspected the footage yesterday at our offices, I noticed that not only my last two were corrupted but also two back... a total of 4 shots. Is there a rule with these REDMAG's one should follow...other than bring plenty?
