I have used many con tax lenses on both Epic and Redone with Canon mounts with the simple mechanical C-Y to EOS adapters that you can buy on ebay or Amazon for about $20.

Hi Alexey,

If you have a canon mount on your epic, then yes you will need a contax to eos adapter, you can buy cheap off ebay - in my experience they "work" but you will have give and not a long shelf life of the small metal piece used to grip.

But quite widely regarded as the best adapters are the leitax ones - where I think your money would be best spent.

If you plan to switch between Contax glass and PL, you might also consider the ALL STAR MOUNT system, but this is a much larger investment than a $20 adapter!
