Here are some grabs from a shoot I shot this past weekend. Was experimenting with flairs and some home-made filters/cheap ND's. Loving this camera more and more...

    Matthew,

    Looks great!

Can you give a little more info on your filters?

Thanks Miles, sure! I cut some 2.5mm glass at 101mmx101mm (4x4) and scratched it up, smashed it, put tape on it, and mixed/rotated them to get certain looks. Also, I deliberately purchased the cheapest nastiest ND filters I could find on ebay and lucked out with a beautiful warm colour cast ;) These are the most filmic images I have ever captured....and the flexibility in post with RAW is simply amazing.

Really nice work, Matthew. Would you mind posting a few pre-graded stills? I'm curious to see what you started with, especially on the wide shot.

Fantastic! I actually have a insanely scratched-up square anamorphic front for my Russian glass. I hadn't given it much thought until now. I'll have to play with it to see what I can get.

    Thanks for the idea!!

HA! Fantastic Matthew. This is what i LOVE. Creative experimental approaches to shooting and achieving stunning imagery. Love it mate well done.
The flexibility we have with RAW is a given, but still curios as to just what colour palette you began these shots with pre grade?

    Best

Love the look and how you archived it, well done. Looking forward to see it in motion.
I agree, pre-grade images would be very interesting. :)
