    Hello,

I have shoot this with a Red One MX, as you see is a concertin a theater and the lights are. Is there anyway to bring a little light to this without being too overexpose? I mean to give some color and light to everything that is not black, except the stage area. I dont have real experiencie, what program should I use, what would be the process if ispossible to fix this a bit?

Get out your power windows. There is likely some heavy grain hiding in the shadows, you'll only be able to go so far. Sounds like you're starting out so I imagine you have Apple Color available. Load the in camera proxy into FCP on a timeline, send to Color. Set up your RED RAW tab setting first then use secondaries with a feathered oval vignette or custom shape. Effect outside the shape and carefully gain it up. Apply additional corrections as needed.

Thanks so much, yes, I have no experience. Sorry, what you mean by power windows?

I just wan to give a little more light in general, so let´s see if I can achieve a decent result

I have Apple color, a friend with little experience told me DaVinci is a better option than color, would you recommend DV over color?

    Best regards
