REDMote Locking up on set

hey yall

i have a redmote running 2.0.13 and epic running 3.0.7 and after hitting the record button on the redmote to start recording, the redmote locks up. a hard restart of the redmote allows us to use it, but the buttons arent doing anything, though connection is maintained. another redmote was brought in, but of course the battery was shot, soo...any suggestions? ideas as to why this might be happening?

It may be silly to suggest but if the connection is maintained and buttons are not doing anything, maybe the keys are locked?

hey dude its a fair suggestion! the redmote was NOT locked

Just throwing another suggestion but reload the firmware for the Redmote, or update to a firmware that is more current with the cameras firmware? You know how digital electronic stuff can out of the blue decide that the old firmware is now missing a zero somewhere that caused it to be useless.
