Redmote upgrade issue

I am trying to install the upgrade setup .exe (pc) and it won't even install. I have tried several times, with and without wifi, and it wont work. It keeps giving me "Error Opening File For Writing" error. I have no idea what to do, and with a shoot coming up, I guess I'll just have to go sans REDMOTE...

Have you tried running the installer as Administrator?

HAHAHAH! I hate this stupid PC! Thank you Trent, I got it! I don't understand why I have to tell it that I am the administrator, when I am the one that installed it??

Now, how do I get it to connect, that is the next question...

Make sure to set the right IP numbers as explained in the camera manual and switch off all other network connections. May even need a reboot of the computer.

On the Mac I needed to make a new, temporary environment to make it happen. Don't know if this applies to PCs too.
