Scarlet Avid DS workaround

What is the best way to get Scarlet footage into DS since Scarlet footage is not supported yet in 10.5.2?

We are editing on Media Composer 6 so I was thinking 16-bit DPX files transcoded out of MC with an AFE. Are their any good tutorials on relinking DPX files in DS from MC? Are their any "gotchas" or do DPX image sequences relink just like mov files.

MC doesn't export DPX files natively. I would suggest a pull list EDL from MC into REDCINE X Pro, and export DPX from there with the settings and color space needed to get the most out of the footage. From there, an AFE from MC for the composition conform. So a small test to make sure it all links correctly using "alternate sources" in DS.
