ac adapter disables audio

Wondering if this is a known issue:
When using the ac adapter the audio channels become disabled.
When reverting back to battery power, the audio was re-enabled.
Nothing was reset in the software - just no signal.... Thoughts?

this is very interesting. I just shot this weekend with audio and ac power just fine. Everything else was working fine and just audio was disabled under ac power?
