    I hate to put this in the Complaint section, but it is inconvenient that the DSMC Canon mount resets the lens focus when the camera reboots, especially after setting focus marks. Is there any way the focus can stay in place after reboot?

    And I thought it was only my camera that did this...
    Yes, this is nuts as the marks you set for focus get completely thrown off....
    Any workaround for this?

    I suggest electronic follow focus that uses the lens motors. This way your marks will be good for ever

    That sounds cool, and I'm definitely curious, but for now I'll take a firmware update that makes my $2000 Canon mount function as well as a $1200 Canon 7D.
