Odd pulsing sound when REDMOTE is synced but not docked.(When direct sound is to cam)

Today we had an odd set of circumstances that resulted in us feeding sound directly from the boom to the camera. The sound is fine. However, we noticed that when the REDmote is synced, but not docked on the camera, there is an odd pulsing sound being created. Immediately after docking onto the camera, the pulsing sound ceases.

I know direct to camera sound is not the norm by any means. So, it'll be a rare occurance for us for the most part.

However, has anyone came across this issue?

I get this pulsating sound when using wireless mics or especially shotgun mics then its worse. Its bad enough to ruin the audio track and it bleeds over to the other channel too.
