    Just curious...any idea on the camera system used in this production?

    I'm assuming it was a RED Epic. I saw the big boss outside the screening the other day.

    Also, here is a link to a Bill Paxton interview. Towards the bottom, they mentioned RED EPIC.

    Paxton says:

    "This epic RED camera that they use is unequivocally unforgiving. Boy, we can see any indentation and cranny."

    thanks for he info Joseph - it seems to have been shot with an attention to lighting and detail that we generally don't see in basic cable

    I noticed it as well in the behind the scenes footage. Theres no mistaking that Interface/Histogram.

    I was a little disappointed that they shot in Romania instead of the actual locations...i know it was about finances and logistics. But it would have done a lot to have helped that local economy. Trust me...its very much needed.

    Well done though....as historically correct as they could make it while also adding entertainment value.
