We've spent a good deal of time applying a first light to some footage... In a typical scenario, we're putting out Prores, DNxHD, DPX, Tiff Sequence... but in this case, the client asked for Uncompressed 8 Bit YUV 4:2:2. No problem we think. We've got it on the system, all should be good to go.

But there's a problem, when we export the uncompressed format, it does not hold any of the changes that we've applied in RCX-Pro 14. The uncompressed export looks identical to an unmodified R3D. Exporting the same clip via prores or otherwise works as normal with look applied. We do have "Automatically save RMD" checked in preferences, we even called Red Support and they couldn't duplicate the issue. Is anyone else experiencing this quandary?

As a work around, we can send the files into a TIFF sequence and then take the TIFF sequence to the uncompressed format with the look applied (thanks Jeff Kilgroe!)

    Any thoughts welcome,

As an additional note, we have the same issue on both a tower and laptop running nearly identical setups (OS X 10.7.3, RCX-Pro 14)

    Hi James,

Unfortunately I'm unable to recreate this issue. Can you email verbose log files to redcinex at red please?

    Thanks,
    David
