Anyone else having issues getting this to install? The Adobe Labs site's own instructions seem to contradict what I am getting when I download the plugins. There is no installer only ImporterREDServer.app and ImporterRED.bundle. The app does nothing. Adobe labs support page is currently down.

i installed it a while ago, but I think there should be a readme in there. You need to copy and paste those files into specified directories. There isn't any installer.

yeah, that is what the labs site suggests, but there is no read me file on the download. not sure the link is even pulling down the right compressed archive to get to the plugins.

Try this link which is to product details. Kinda hidden, I'll agree.

You should then be able to follow this link to the PDF installation instructions.

One camera is a shoot... two or more is a production.

There is no Read Me so installing this is a black art and very frustration if you can't find the information online.

I did find it after an hour of searching and trying different things (seriously Adobe get a grip)

    Anyone looking to install this....
Put the RedImportServer application in the "32" folder in the Premier folder
and the RedImportPlugin in the Plugin's folder.

Thank you, Rory. This saved me a lot of time. Adobe, please include installation instructions within the download.

To be specific here are the locations for Windows:

    ImporterRED.prm - \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Plug-ins\Common
    ImporterREDServer.exe - \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\32

I would suggest saving your current ImporterRED.prm and ImporterREDServer.exe files before replacing them.

WTF? Am I posting in invisible type? The link to the README installation instructions is located in my post number 6!

Sheesh! (Why do I even bother...)

ADDITIONAL: To clarify my post above, by not reading the installation instructions you may be missing out on the need to also do the same things to AE, AME and Encore. AME, I think, has a little different replace point in the files. Encore may have as well.
