Btw, what's the loop in the middle for?
The loop is for whatever you decide. We have found it useful for a climbing d-ring attachment point.
That's what I thought it was for but I'm trying to figure out when would one need to hook a carabiner to a neck strap. It looks like it's not a part of the actual strap, but sewn onto the padded shoulder portion, which would make it unsuitable for hauling a camera up a cliffside by the strap. Question, does the main webbing run end to end in a continuous loop or does it stop where it is sewn at the padded portion?
Mark,
Actually the loop is part of the strap. It is one continuous loop with all metal links. We did pull tests but do not want to officially rate it. Lets just say it can hold plenty of weight as we had it made by a rigging company that makes harnesses for the military.
Excellent! Glad to hear it. Was hoping that would be the case.
Just got my LEVO today... Excellent!! Absolutely superb. I love the Kong carabiners.
Look no further this is THE camera strap for your epic!
They are coming. Glad you love it.
Would be great to see a video of the levo in action
