    Hello,
I'm helping a friend who had is documentary selected in a big festival.
They are asking for a DCP which a lab will make

The final export needs to be a tiff sequence

Anyway, here is what he did:
They converted all the red files into SD prores
On is final edit in FCP he has : sd Prores files (Epic shots), some .move files from a small B camera, Subtitles in .PSD, Sound and music (with fcp fades), some transitions, some titles and credits made in fcp.

Now he wants to put all this into Cinered, replace with the original r3D files and use all the above directly in cinered and do some color correction.

What would one sugest to be the simplest way to do it without loosing all the fades titles etc?
How do I exort his FCP, in EDL? (it asks different settings , sony, CF300 or something).

    Thanks for the help

If by Cinered you mean RedCine-X, you can't do what you're asking. You can only use RedCine-X Pro with R3D RAW files, you can't bring in your .mov files or .psd graphics or audio into RCX-Pro. The simplest way to bring in your R3D material is to export your edit sequence as FCP XML from Final Cut and import that XML into RCX-Pro.

EDIT: Just to add, my suggestion would be to hire an editor or editing assistant who knows what they're doing to handle the project for you.

Yes that is what I was thinking to do and relink the files to R3D files but in that xml export there will also be the sound and the B camera files (which can only be linked to .mov files).
does that mean that Ill need to go back to finalcut once I color corrected the R3D files?

Roundtripping back to FCP is probably your only option if you intend to grade in RCX-Pro. You might also want to look into something like DaVinci Resolve Lite which should be able to ingest and handle all your footage be it R3D or something else.
