I'm looking for a setup that would enable me to correctly preview footage shot with anamorphic lenses (4K ANA, 2816 x 2304). Currently the editing system has a JVC DT - V24G1C as a monitor, and a Decklink HD Extreme 3D as the video card. There doesn't seem to be any way to preview the footage in the correct aspect ratio.

What sorts of setups do you all have for working with anamorphic video?

In redcine theres a drop down tab in the player that lets you change from "normal" to anamorphic. In davinci resolve under your browse tab. Select clips from your media pool - right click and change your pixel aspect ratio from square to cinemascope.

Make sure your ac's shoot rack leaders as when you do a transcode you'll have to make sure it lines up.

What about in Final Cut Pro? It would be nice to be able to view the clips in their correct aspect ratio on the preview monitor.
