    Awesome! Well done! Thanks RED!

You may also mention that it's a free upgrade.

    Just ordered it.

    Epic X.

I guess it depends on when you purchased/received your X. Some people will already have the upgrade in place (I'd presume).

Epic-M's have a separate upgrade program that requires you to send in your camera. But a lot more than just the antenna gets upgraded.

How cool are Red to do this, and at no cost! Anyone else would release a "Deluxe Antenna for those requiring the best connnection" for $595.

Love Red. Always have, always will!

So you are saying that RED is cool because they are fixing a problem for free? Maybe your redmote has worked well, but since october mine hasn't really work well past about 5' away from the camera. If it worked really well to begin with, but a new antenna added another 50' to an already 50' reliable connection, I would be more impressed. I say more yea on RED for finally fixing the issue without having to send my entire camera in for 10 days.

Hmm, can we have some more information on the procedure?
I suppose the owners of affected S/N's will just get an Email by their Rep?

Would it also be possible to get this going out just as a DIT (of course with providing the correct S/N and original address of the owner) - like it was possible with the OLPF where I just had to shot out an Email to get the new part delivered? Would help as I don't know if the higher department here is aware of the fix and the problem (many people still believe it's more of a firmware then a hardware issue, so they are waiting to get better reception with newer firmwares - which in my experience did not happen to the extent we'd need over here… bad redmote reception since day one and didn't really want to send our camera or mote in as we're located in Europe).
