Is this upgrade going out to everyone or do I need to file a support ticket? My remote has a range of around one foot whenever it decides to connect.

Got over 110' through an exterior wall. I imagine line of sight would do better.

Prior to upgrade got to approx. 18' line of sight.

I got probably 20ft inside today after upgrading the antenna. However, before I only got about a spotty 5-10ft, so a major upgrade! Of course, my house is a steel house, so nothing gets really goo reception without external antennas.

Awesome upgrade... I get over 120 feet in line of sight, may be some passing traffic... and about 70 feet once i turn a corner and say about 35 feet through a couple of concrete walls.
Thanks RED team... Happy that the Redmote is truly wireless now!

Got the upgrade kit from RED UK... no installation instructions, however. Could someone post the PDF somehow, please?

Nope and nope. Had to request the upgrade after finding out my Epic had the old antenna.

Sorted! Thanks for helping me out <you know who you are> :)

edit: Installed the upgrade, booted up Epic and left it running inside the house while I went out to the front yard, closing the door behing me. Got to 154 feet before Redmote lost connection -- very cool!
