REDucation India this July

We are taking our REDucation class international again, this time in India. The full on 4k experience and shooting 5k and 4k with many EPICs and Scarlets. Learning best practices on shooting RED and post workflow for RED.

I love spending time in India, one of the most interesting, vibrant and fascinating places on earth, and one of the most evolved markets for Movie making on this or probably any other planet :-)

Nice one Ted. I'm amazed at how many 5D productions go on there. Even big budget productions. They would have no problems switching over to RED. The big problem is getting access to the cameras! Lots of red tape. (pun intended)

Ted, any chance of doing a REDucation in China in the near future? We're in Shanghai and there are a lot of people using REDs here and in Beijing.

Hey Ted,Nice to know you are getting REDucation to India,But are you not planning one in Mumbai. .... In Mumbai there are many fold Epics and Red Cameras than all of India Put together.
Will surely travel there if you aren't planning one here .But there is a need to educate technicians here and remove the so called FEAR of '' high tech Epic " from their Minds,and accept RED as much and as quickly they have Alexa. (:=

My last 3 visits to India were Primarily in Mumbai. (fantastic city, but a bit hard to get around in :-)

We've done a number of well attended seminars and workflow presentations and theater screenings in Mumbai, so this time we thought we would spread our wings and do this Class in Chennai. I'm sure, just based on the size of the market in India, and the massive amount of work being shot there, we will do future events and education again in Mumbai, and in Hyderabad, Calcutta, Delhi, etc.

So if you are based out of Mumbai or another region in India, hop on a short flight and come hang with us at REDucation in Chennai at Prasad. should be a great few days!

Never ever thought I'd be witness to Ted say (write, rather) "Hyderabad"... my hometown. Missing it. Can't wait to go there with my EPIC-X to shoot my next feature someday soon.
