Request: remove all dead space on timeline?

I know the purpose of RCXPro timeline isn't to be a robust NLE, that's for FCP, Prem, Avid, et all.

But what RCXPro Timeline is super useful for is to select a big pile of clips for export to use elsewhere. In this process I find myself doing the following:
-Browse project(s), pitch tons of clips onto timeline
-Trim clips

This leaves a ton of dead space on the timeline, a global command to remove all dead space (i.e. snap all the clips together) would be pretty damn useful.
