  1. #1 Anton/Bauer QR-RED Gold Mount - Update
Anton/Bauer is planning on shipping the QR-RED Gold Mount around the second week of March. This mount will have a 6p right angle LEMO connector on it.

If there are any problems in the meantime, you are able to use the QR-DSR Gold Mount and lock that onto the V-Mount.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

So, we'll need a separate lemo cable to connect to the camera that doesn't come with the mount?

I thought the above post said it will have a 6pin lemo rt angle connector.
    No need for a cable.

No data communications until RED has the time to put it into the camera. Sorry....

When you buy the QR-RED, you will not need anything else as it will have the 6p right angle LEMO connector on it.

In the meantime, you would need to get the battery cage from RED that has the V-Mount battery adapter on it. This adapter already has the cable with the LEMO connector. Then, the QR-DSR would attach directly to that, so the QR-DSR does not need the cable and LEMO connector....

Paul there are a lot of us that would like to go to your batteries and gold mount right off the bat with our cameras. No chance of having the gold mount done earlier? End of this month would be perfect.

If there was a way that I could make that happen, I would in a heartbeat. This is why we are offering the temporary solution in the meantime. Another two weeks (after the end of February) is not bad.....

It's not that hard to whip one up ! I made this to hold me over until AB was ready with theirs.

Don't worry, I'm going to triple check the polarity and wiring before I plug my camera in !
