RED CF Station Question

Does anyone know if you can use the RED CF Station for transferring data from normal CF cards? (non-RED CF)

Would be a big help if someone can please share there thoughts/experiences.

I don't know for certain as I haven't tried it, but can't see why they would not work. Red Store states it uses the same CF module as on the camera and those can read/write to the original RED 8GB CF cards which were just rebadged specially selected Lexar cards.

Yes, they are very speedy for transferring a days worth of recordings from the sound guy.

Thanks guys. Just got all the pieces together... yes, speedy indeed! CF to ESata is nice!

CF cards are real tight going into the slot... seems to tight actually. But, first time it was used out of the box. Got to keep those cards perfectly straight to get em in. I guess that's a good thing.
