    Just did a few test shots at night using this setting.
    Works a treat.

    This should be a default setting. IMHO.

    Yes.
    AFAIK there is separate settings (at least gammas) for SDI/RED monitoring on the "to do" list still (even though I cannot remember seeing any comment to that since Deanan left). So far they are the same...

    It goes to everything...

    It's a good look for on set monitors... everyone usually tweaks the contrast on our client monitors anyway,
    At the end of the day, this is a meta data tweak.. nothing more. Remember, we are shooting raw everyone... This tiny bit of shadow fill in can be turned off when you get to transcode or grading stage.

    I've done tests today transcoding without removing the shadow correction.. to be honest, it looks good. But if I'm doing serious grading, I will turn it off and start from a neutral white balance point in REDLOGFILM... The results are always the best that way....
