I've looked a little into it all - I'm looking at investing in a new battery system and this seems quite feasible. Just need a bit of clarification on the differences between V and AB. It looks like AB is smaller, which I'd like because of the portability of it. Has anyone had any experience with both? Just after a few pointers on durability, longevity of battery life, charge time, etc.

And it seeems as though Red Bricks are V mount correct?

    Hi Caden,

Most clients don't want say a 3-4" inch cable but they do want say 6", 10", 12" or 20". If you need additional "extension cords" like you say. We suggest you look at our Scarlet V-mount Pro plate that has User Upgradeable cable system so you can replace the cable assembly to your liking to cater to your shooting style.

Does it pass through battery percentage remaining? Or, is that somehow related to which battery is used?

I think it depends on your battery.

Really digging this Scarlet Standard battery plate. Works flawlessly. It may be better than the Pro plate. Kidding!!!

Thanks again MG1 and again I'm sorry for your loss; my condolences go out to you all especially the Bank's family. She will be missed.

My condolences to her family and loved ones. She was the one that gave me constant updates during the time of MG1's AB prototype stages that had so many obstacles.
I was one of the lucky ones to get a prototype during the final stages of completion. Huge heart of gold. I thank you, Julie.
