I'm looking for a Toronto-based DIT for an upcoming commercial. I normally work as DIT for the DP (who's a very successful British commercials shooter) but can't make it on this job, so he asked me to find someone who's good in Toronto with lots of Epic experience. One of the Epics will be supplied by me and the other by a local Toronto company. He needs to be able to monitor from the DIT cart taking the SDI in preferably monitoring on a Dreamcolor or comparable calibrated screen. Two Epics usually shooting high frame rates so needs to be able to keep up on the data management, and to grade each shot and transcode from a rocket card.
