Mine arrived on Thursday. It is built like a tank and the motor is surprisingly quiet. Used it on a shoot yesterday and am very happy with it. I like it a lot better than the name brand unit I had been renting.

RT Motion is in the UK. The whole single motor package was about $3500.

Mine arrived several days ago, and it is beautiful both in function and form. I bought the FIZ with 3 motors and couldn't be happier. It auto calibrates, is high torque, easy to learn, and is simple to use. The instruction manual is only several pages with big print and a big spaces between the sentences. I too forgot to buy the battery and charger, so I am powering the controller through the USB port until the battery/charger arrives. I am waiting for the battery before I find out how far the range is. It is sooooooo quiet. Thanks to Kris and Leslie for such good communication and service. Hope to meet them one day to shake their hand. On second thought, a big hug is in order.

I received my MK3 unit Monday last week, build quality is superb. For the money I can't think of a better unit on the market..RT Motion are going to be every busy! I was going to post a revue last week but didn't get the time.

Well, it must be a good sign for the company (looking at it one way) when you go to the site and a note pops up saying "We aren't accepting new orders until August so we can catch up! Get on the Waiting List!"

Oh Well... That's one way to build up desire! Apple does it all the time! :D

Ok the batteries for the controller arrived and I made a power cable to power the receiver from my power distribution box. Everything works smoothly, but the motor seems to have a problem. It's loud and jumpy... I guess that there is some dirt inside. Sending it in tomorrow. Sorry to further postpone the review.

An other thing... I ordered some metal lens gear rings from JBK cinequip. Jerry anodized them for me an they feel and look awesome. Only downside is that they are a little bit sharp at the corners.

I got mine 1 week ago. The controller is a piece of art. Great quality and super easy to work with.
But I have the same problem with the motor as David. It is jumpy and stuttering. Sometimes moving without touching.

I was talking to the RT Motion team and they told me, that they are optimizing the firmware right now so this could be gone soon.
The whole kit is still a bit of a work in progress because it so new.

Don't get me wrong. When they fix the jumpiness, this kit smokes all the FF kits in it's price range and way above. The controller alone is worth the money.
So David keep us updated about your "jumpiness" problem. I think I got the same issue.
