Scarlet-My audio channel red dots on 1 and 2 turn red when the audio input is touched on touch screen with nothing plugged in. I was trying to solve this when my screen when black except for the shut down splash screen and the time code. I can't even reload the firmware without the touch screen. I've tried to reset to factory default all to no avail. Help!

Revised: It now looks like the entire camera is frozen. I can't move the menus on the side handle. Nothing seems to work but turn on shut off.

It's not clear to me what you mean by "when the audio input is touched on touch screen". The red dots are to signify you want to record the audio channels but we've detected that no microphones are plugged in.

You can always reload the firmware by placing the upgrade image in a folder named "force_upgrade" on the SSD and rebooting the camera.

Thanks Trent. I've never seen the red dot because I've always had a mic present.

I'm trying the force upgrade it seems to be taking a long time!

It worked this time. Thanks. Audio should have green light if Audio Record Enable is checked. And it was red. Now it's green and the mic is showing level.

What version are you running? There was a bug in earlier firmware versions that would sometimes incorrectly show red dots on startup even if you had microphones plugged in.

The bug I was referring to was fixed by 3.0.0. If you are experiencing false red dots when your microphones are plugged please open a support ticket and send in a log file.
