Someone please tell me when they think they'll actually need 16 Gigs of ram in the near future; how near, 1 year, 2 years, 3?
I'm trying to decide whether buying a 16gGhz Retina configuration willmake sense withing a year or 2, because if it doesn't, what's the use?

RAM is not upgradeable, you'd be wise to max the RAM. 16GB is needed if you want to future-proof your MBPro
