What sort of timeframe are you expecting REDCINE to transcode/render in?
What is realistic in terms of how you work now?

Should a colorist be part of the REDCINE process?

Are most users going to just clone REDDRIVE to HDD and hand those off to their clients or will you provide a REDCINE transfer as part of your RED package?

REDCINE is not a colourist tool. It's a RAW conversion tool. It's for you to get your RAW footage converted and to look "nice". However, I'm sure some will use it as a colour tool. That's fine, but the controls are geared towards RAW conversion, not colouring.

Thanks Graeme. Like most rental houses (I would imagine) we need to think about what level of service do we provide to Red Shooters. As we don't know how many post houses will support REDCINE I'm sure it will initally be a service we have to provide.
