    Hello fellow users.

Someone has stolen off a rental my Red Epic M #01119 as well as all primary accessories (batteries, touch screen, bomb eve etc).

Please be advised of this and if you are in Los Angeles and see a young man in the North Hollywood/Burbank area of Domincan decent with such camera answering to the name of Alex Lopez, please advise the authorities.

    Thank you.

Every time I see one of these posts, my heart sinks for the owner. I'm in NW Florida, so I likely won't be much help, but I hope you recover your camera soon.

Please make sure to always post here if you have RED gear stolen.

Evan, we have marked it as stolen in our internal database as well. If it crosses RED's path, we'll know about it. And, yes, we have caught people in the past.

Just had a friend have his complete StediCam Masters series arm sled vest and transvideo monitor stolen in South Africa. He hired a PI and over the course of a 2 weeks got it back.
Don't give up hope. This is not a Ford F150 that you see all the time.
I hope it turns up for you Evan.

im mentally sending laser death cancer aids herpes shotgun machine gun arrow bullets at this jerk for you .
i own a bunch of gear and am super paranoid about renting it out.
    for exactly this reason /
i really could use the rental income also .

maybe send word to broadcast video warehouse , bexel , the power broker, the sales baron , wooden nickel and any other buyer seller equipment houses in la .
those places get hit hard on occasion , and hate / would love to help catch equipment thieves .

i am angry for you . and hope you get your gear back.
