This may or may not have already been addressed however I am going to ask it again.

Does anyone know what the ETA of the Nikon mount is for the Epic? I've got a ton of projects I'd love to shoot Nikkor with and am patiently awaiting....

For Nikon manual Iris Lenses Jarek has one and Allstar has one. I believe both companies have a solution for Nikon G also. It would be great to hear about Deleivey of a Red Electronic Nikon mount.

AFAIK, last official word is that the RED "smart" Nikon mount would be ready end of July. All I know is it can't get here soon enough!

In the mean time, there are other "dumb" solutions which have iris control for G lenses. Jacek (OptiTek) has a nice one. There's a couple others out there too...

I wouldn't exactly call it "dumb"-the iris control mechanism with calibrating scale and gear is pretty clever If I may say so myself...
Besides what is the advantage of touch screen iris adjustment? It's always easier to reach for the gear and turn the ring.... We can try to do a speed test and see
They are in stock and ready to ship BTW

Douglas, you designed the original Nikon mount for Red? Didn't know that. That thing was so sturdy I worried more about my lens breaking off rather than the mount failing. Brings back old memories.
One camera is a shoot... two or more is a production.
