    Anyone tackled this?
Very simple circuit but can't say I'm having much luck with it rolling my camera.

Yes there's great off the shelf solutions but they're not relevant for my particular project.
    thx

What are the GPI Trigger start/stop requirements?

Start Record: Ground - 3.3V Transition
    During Record: Hold at 3.3V
Stop Record: 3.3V - Ground Transition
    During Stop: Hold at Ground

What's the issue? In my experience it works fine.

    Ah ha
Having cut the white bnc off to the '3 BNC sync cable' to find the correct trigger wire colour, Ive found they use a different colour wire on the other side of the junction block
    SO yellow it is :-)

    Jason,

Have you seen the Lemac solution? They are selling a small trigger box. I'm hazy on the detail.

    Jason,

I made one with about $20 in parts from radio shack. I looked up how to read an electronics schematic on the web and then followed the one provided by red. Pretty easy.
