I have the same flanders as Justin, I love it. Beats the hell out of my previous panasonic. No more green cast and it's a lot lighter.
Get the stand adapter and soft case that they make for it.

Just hooked up a 40" TCL L40FHDM12 via HDMI to an Epic. It works. It works so well, I will use this as director's monitor for auditions or any studio work. A bit heavy and cumbersome for the field.
EDIT: Failed to mention the HDMI cable length was 15'

I can vouch for the Flanders. I recently purchased this one a couple months ago to use in my suite and on set.

I love the case and the monitor. Every person that's seen it on set while I'm color correcting has said something along the lines of "Damn... that looks so good"![]()
I've used the JVC monitor and was not impressed. Neither was the director. He asked for the smaller 17" Panasonic monitor we were using for the client monitor. I'd go for the Flanders personally. Good luck.
