Hey red community...the title sums it up! A contact of mine outside of paris asked me to shoot this music video and we had a lot of fun doing it. I got the chance to test out this leica R 35-70mm 2.8 lens i recently acquired and I am quite pleased. Hard to notice the IQ of the lens when they dirtied up the footage so much. I also shot some wider stuff with the canon 16-35mm. Reduser Olivier Madar out of paris really came through with the gear and offered support as a 2nd camera and with lighting etc. It was quick and dirty, hope you enjoy!

Cool video. Like the look of it.

    Two questions:
+ what filter was used in post to get the flare/dirty look?
+ how did you go about the shooting slower and getting good lip sync?

    Well done!

    :))

Very relaxed, I like it :) I like the way you didn't care about highlights either.. Some people are paranoid about seeing everything. Nice job :)))

Glad you enjoyed it Mark! Yeah the goal was to go for a dirty old film look as you might have noticed but they really were budget limited and i was hoping for frame skipping and melting etc. It was fun cause we did not have to be consistent with anything and experiment with multiple looks.
