Hi,

I've just been hired by a company where I will never shoot on my Red One, so I am considering to put it for sale.

The camera hasn't been delivered to me. I have been asked by Red to decide if I want my camera or not. I thought about just getting my deposit back since I don't want to deal with the non-transferable warranty and all. Nevertheless, if I get an offer that will be worth for me to go through all that trouble, I don't see why not.

Since I haven't gotten the delivery, the package is completely open to your preferred modification. I also have the Titanium R, which I don't have the box for (sorry).

Here are some extra informations based on some questions that I've got already.

1. Name of the item
Red One #407 Camera.

2. Descriptions/Condition/Picture(s) of the item
The camera is ready at Red Company, and they're waiting for my call.
I only have the camera body reserved so far, but I can add all the accessories to your need. The warranty is not transferable, and I don't want to be the middle man for a year. I will have to suggest the buyer to purchase a separate warranty on the camera, though I will listen to any ideas that you'd like to suggest.

3. (item's) location
Currently at the Red company.

4. Purchase date (mm/dd/yy) or such
I have made my reservation about May, 2006 as far as I remember.

5. Price of the item / shipping method
I will accept offers for a few days and make my decision. For the shipping, I am going to have all the items shipped to the buyer once the payment is made.

6. Method of payment
Prior to the sale, I will give my Paypal information to the buyer.

That's a LOT of money for a PayPal transaction! Be careful.

HINT: They are not a bank nor are they regulated like one. The buyer is always right.

If the buyer doesn't feel comfortable with the method of payment that I suggested, the buyer and I will come up with a method that we both feel

Actually, I think CrewPix was saying you should be careful of PayPal as the seller. I would never take payment of that magnitude through PayPal unless I had a signed and witnessed / notarized sales contract in my hands first.

We talked about the troubles with paypal in another thread. Look into google checkout as an option, not sure if it's better, but worth checking out. Good luck on your transaction, I'm sure someone will take you up on it.
