    I'm sure there was a day when people were having this discussion on which filmmakers were least likely to shoot in color... or with sound. Not to say this is totally analogous.

    Five years ago, 90% of Hollywood probably wasn't too interested in 4k+ digital acquisition. The times are changin'...

    Not even that. From what I recall, Warhorse was his first film where he ATTEMPTED to use an AVID instead of Steenbeck but he didn't like it and from what I understand will return to cutting on Steenbecks for his future films. Could be wrong though.
