    Quick update so that others reading this may have a solution if they are experiencing a similar problem. For whatever reason, Rory needs to delete the two msm database files once the files are copied into the Avid MediaFiles folder in order to force the database to rebuild itself. While not ideal, it works. Next step is to find out why it's not rebuilding on its own during startup.

    Michael you're amazing and I can't thank you enough for the Skype Screen Sharing help and for finding the source of the issue so now at least I can start editing in Avid.
    If you need me to do any further testing to help find the cause of why the database isn't being updated, I'm here to help.
