    Hey guys, I recently updated to the current Red firmware. I'm having an issue.
    I have an HDMI monitor which I use for my JIB/Crane shots. Currently it's not getting an signal
    I tried different cables and even different monitor.

    Am I missing something. I'm standing by

    try looking in the monitor page in the menu and make sure it is outputting to hdmi. I'm pretty srue it can only do either hdmi or sdi not bot simultaneous.

    scratch that. I just got the camera working again. Not sure what was happening when I was doing my test today. Anyways, thanks guys

    You're right the camera can only do one or the other. For my jib I use an HDMI monitor.
    For those who might get a similar problem. I have a REDmote and under menu 8 you can change items.

    No longer do you need a force preset. Just an FYI

    I noticed with this upgrade that I had to use my Redmote to re-enable the HDMI out. I didn't have to do that with the previous upgrade so it kind of freaked me out for a minute after this one.
