So I'm thinking more and more about the Red 17-50 V2 model. Seems great but a little concerned over the vignetting users are reporting when shooting FF 5k at 17mm. How much of an issue is this to everyone out there using this lens? I'm also a little concerned because of the 6k Dragon that's about to drop. That would for sure cause more vignetting with this lens I'd imagine.

    Thoughts?

Dragon, 5K will be a bit smaller area than MX 5K, so I suspect that 5K-like resolutions will be fine. 6K will be a bit larger than the area of MX@5K, so I'm guessing that I wouldn't want to use it when set to 6K on a Dragon sensor.

Bought it knowing full well that there would be vignetting on an Epic at some resolutions. 5KWS it's fine, 5KHD not an issue at all. 5K 2:1, I avoid using it. 5KFF, it just doesn't work for me.

I don't regret buying it. It's a great lens for the price. But then I knew if I wasn't completely happy with it on an Epic, I still had my RED One MX that wouldn't mind some PL zoom love.
