No harms done, my friend....
On the other hand, Spiderman footage is FENOMENAL...!!! I feel proud to say that I have the same camera that was used to produce such kind of footage. I was simply astonished when I saw it last night with my wife.
A friend just posted on Facebook that it turned her on more than any of her last five boyfriends. Luckily, I wasn't one of those losers.
We went to see Magic Mike last night. Film print. Looked very soft. Not a criticism.
Fascinating choice of color palette though. Sort of faded vacation slides from the 60's look. Homage to old beach movie musicals?
Boy has the beach movie changed!![]()
Over $100M! Great job Steven...
Jim
And that $100m is all domestic. For a budget of under 10 million, he hit this one out of the park. I guess there really are a lot of "law breakers" out there.
magic mike is interesting. i enjoyed it. maybe a little too much dancing but i was laughing for most of the first hour. $100M that's great.
Sony Website is listing Magic Mike as a 4K release, can You confirm it? In Italy it will be out next month (late as usually!) let's hope we will get a 4K DCP as well![]()
My girlfriend is more than on hold. She's on ARCHIVE - ENCRYPT - EJECT - BURRY.
Just saw MM this week and really liked it. Better than I expected, honestly I thought there would be more dancing but it's about strippers after all.
I'm burning to know what anamorphic lenses they used though. they were quite soft on the edges on a lot of shots and I really digged the overall look. Even thought it has been shot on film, looked quite organic with lush colours etc.
Not sure though if it was a print or digital projection.
