I seem to recall him having 4-5 movies in the pipeline that he planned to shoot before retiring. It was in a Matt Damon interview. Liberace was definitely on the list, and I think his last movie was supposed to be with Matt Damon. The list started with Contagion (so Contagion, Haywire, Magic Mike, Bitter Pill, and Behind the Candelabra)... He also said he wanted to retire from filmmaking at 51, which would be in 2014... So yeah, he's still on schedule. Of course, everything subject to change, so who knows.

I just heard him in an interview about Magic Mike saying that the projects in the pipeline now (Bitter Pill and this) are probably it for him... let's hope he changes his mind! Cinema needs filmmakers like Soderbergh.
    Check out my short films:

    Ashes Fall (2007)
