    +1 I second this. I have in in my Z7 HDV, it does 3-6 and 12 seconds at 120 fps and uses memory. Once the slowmo has been recorded it writes it down. It also has a cool feature where you press record after the event has passed, meaning that i.e., if a golfer swings the club press it after the swing, then it writes down the previous 3 seconds. Very useful for animal docs.

    "Super amazing" wasn't my point. I'm saying that all of these things either had been mentioned before as a feature to come, or something that is to be expected with further development.

    Even the Gyro was mentioned 2 or 3 years ago...so, I guess I'm afraid I don't know what point you are trying to support. :)

    Camcorders which apply noise reduction and lossy compression before writing to relatively slow recording media need big RAM buffers. Scarlet/Epic might not ...

    Sorry I wasn't trying to be indifferent for meanness sake. It's just best to move on if most likely there is no possibility.

    One final thing I'll add. Even the FixedScarlet I used didn't have a burst mode.
