Filming near an MRI. . .

Lesson learned - You can only shoot near an MRI machine that is out of service or has been properly shut down for servicing aka, one that is not in a hospital. Any active MRI (whether on or off) is too dangerous to be near. Perhaps MRI manufactures have dummy models that have no working parts, and you could shoot in one of those.

You could always buy your own MRI.

I have shot at many hospitals. You can take your camera into a CT scan area, but you don't want to take it into an MRI area as others have said.

Another thought would be contact an MRI manufacture like Toshiba Medical Systems for product placement in your film.

We're way too low budget for that kind of action, but it's a nice idea.

If you're struggling with angles, get a couple of very good mirrors.
I'm actually not kidding on this one!

As others have said. Be very careful around these ting. Both with yourself, tools and camera.
