  1. #1 Download Red Undead
Hi guys. We had a shoot yesterday and we experienced a corrupted 16GB CF card on a Red Mx, "The card that you inserted was not readable by this computer" would pop out when the CF card is inserted on a card reader. I went to the download section of Red Support but I could not find the Red Undead. Any idea where we can download the file? Thanks

To find it I had to click on 'Release Version' on a random download and it showed up on the left.

Here is a link directly to it:

We were able to retrieve the files, thanks very much Adam for the link and the Red Team for providing a recovery software!

In Redcine-x pro, I deleted the R3Ds from the Browser Project window, apparently this deletes the R3D files from the hard drive! Not knowing this I emptied the recycle bin.

Now I'm trying to get those R3d files back, the external drive works fine, it has not been reformatted, corrupted, or written to since the files were deleted.

I tried REDundead using this in the terminal redundead /dev/rdisk5 /Users/admin/Desktop/REDundead/

I get "Done!" but no files were recovered.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue as Joe. Everything shows up like it is working, but after I click enter, it just says done. It doesn't seem like it is even searching the drive. Please help!

Are you following all the steps in the User Guide file? If your RedMag isn't known by the OS as disk3 or disk5, then you're pointing it to a thing that may not exist, at which point it searches the 0bytes that are there and recovers nothing, saying DONE. You also need to make sure you are then pointing it to an existing destination location.
