Wait third party manufacturers are supported...yet Red sues 'em? Makes no sense to me. They have a huge notice on their website that says they are not affiliated with Red in any way....

Support needs to go both ways, and I'm not talking about supporting the camera, but the people who make the camera.

I'd also be very interested to see the results of this. I've got plenty of RED Branded products, but personally think x has great stuff that fills voids in much of Red's product line. Many of the WC parts are quite innovative and I'd hate to see them disappear.

We would love them to be involved in the RED community... just with innovative products. We don't have issues with every part they make. Apparently they weren't willing to discuss the situation... hence the lawsuit.

If you don't protect intellectual property... you lose it.

Seriously, I wonder what would happen if someone was to make a red rocket alternative. That's the kind of third party stuff I would like to see!
